Energy Democracy Leadership Institute (EDLI)​

Energy Democracy Leadership Institute, also known as EDLI, is a nine-month program dedicated to training merging leaders in eastern North Carolina counties. In this program, individuals are gaining the necessary skills and support needed to thrive as community leaders. Furthermore, EDLI helps generate the people power needed to create a just and equal life in regards to energy and climate justice. Together, we work to produce a change in surrounding communities against environmental injustices, such as Coal Ash, Electricity, Atlantic Coast Pipeline, Mills, Enviva Wood Pellets, and much more by advocating for the rights of the residents in the surrounding communities.
